"Be so tolerant that your bosom becomes wide like the ocean. Become inspired with faith and love of human beings. Let there be no troubled souls to whom you do not offer a hand, and about whom you remain unconcerned."

FFC Coffee Nights; "Muslim Women and Modernity"

Foundation for Inter-Cultural Dialogue Women's League sponsors Fellowship of Faiths and Cultures Club at ASU Coffee Night event.

Fellowship of Faiths and Cultures (FFC)  had the second talk in its series of FFC Coffee Nights, to discuss the issue of "Muslim Women and Modernity" with our guest speaker Ms. Cheryl Pearson, from the University of Houston. The event was held on Monday, 16th of March, in MU 240, between 6-8 pm.

This is an informal talk with a guest speaker. The guest speaker gives a talk on a specific topic for 30-45 minutes, and the rest of the event goes as open, and free discussion on that topic. Complimentary coffee, refreshments, and snacks will be available during the talk. In organizing monthly FFC Coffee Night talks, we aim to provide a nice environment for openly sharing our thoughts on issues that relate to people from all cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds.
